Waterproof panelling as an alternative to tiles

The perfect cost-effective alternative to tiling is waterproof bathroom panelling. Shower panelling is easy to fit in wet and dry areas. There is a large variety of colours, finishes and sizes available to suit every bathroom.

SHOWERWALL BATHROOM PANELLING

Showerwall is a versatile yet stylish shower panelling system. The Showerwall bathroom panels are constructed with an MDF moisture resistant core and a high-pressure laminate surface. This provides a smooth finish which is hygienic and can be wiped clean. Showerwall comes with a 15-year guarantee (terms and conditions apply).

SHOWERWALL PANEL OPTIONS

The Showerwall panels are available in “square cut” or “tongue and groove”. The square cut panels are joined using trims where needed and the tongue and groove simply slot together. There is a huge range of designs to choose from in either type ranging from marble effects to wave effects. Showerwall can also be customised with a digital image of your choice. (High-resolution photos only.)

Square cut panels are available in 900mm, 1000mm and 1200mm widths. The height is consistent at 2440mm and the thickness at 10.5mm.

ADVANTAGES OF PANELLING OVER TILES

  • Bathroom or Shower panelling is easy to fit. This cuts down on labour time and cost if you hire somebody to fit for you.
  • In a majority of cases, you can fit over your existing tiles or wall surface saving time and money taking away your old wall covering. We would recommend you check the installation guide for tips on your individual installation.
  • There is no grout required in between panels. This means it is easier to clean and no risk of mould forming, a common problem with tile grout.
  • Bathroom panelling is low maintenance yet long-lasting. Coming with a warranty of between 5 and 15 years if correctly fitted.
  • The panels also provide additional insulation due to their thickness.
