Karndean for your kitchen

Karndean flooring has many benefits. It is versatile, luxury vinyl flooring with the look of beautiful, natural floors. Other benefits include…

  • Lifetime guarantee

  • Pet friendly

  • Low maintenance

  • Durable

  • Child friendly

  • Waterproof

  • Compatible with underfloor heating

  • Comfortable underfoot

  • Realistic designs

Why Karndean is perfect for your kitchen

  • Hardwood – Karndean gives the realistic look of grain and knot wood detail without the practicality difficulties. Wood can expand and shrink with the temperature and moisture, while Karndean maintains its shape and is waterproof. Wood flooring requires frequent sanding, staining and lacquering to maintain its look, whereas Karndean is easy to clean and maintain.

  • Stone and Ceramic tiles – With stone or ceramic, weight is often a problem especially if you want to install it upstairs. Karndean is light, flexible and much more comfortable to install. Stone can be cold in the morning, whereas Karndean has a warmer touch underfoot and is compatible with underfloor heating. Tiles can be slippery when wet, but Karndean floors have been slip tested and the textured floor has been approved for both commercial and domestic use.

  • Carpet – Karndean floors do not harbour dust mites or bacteria, meaning they are also easier to clean after children or pets have used them. Unlike carpet, if a section gets damaged it can be easily replaced rather than having to change the whole floor.

  • Laminate and Engineered Wood – These products look manufactured and unrealistic, while Karndean flooring replicates the look and feel of real wood. Man-made laminate can shrink and curl with age. Karndean maintains its shape. Laminate and engineered wood flooring can get damaged when wet. Karndean is water resistant.
