NEWS: New Partnership with Cirencester Town Football Club

As you may know from following our business we are very passionate about Cirencester and the local community surrounding our store. We have been on the high street since 1979 and believe our biggest success comes from a sense of community.

Karley Coles, Marketing Assistant based at our Cirencester Store says, “Businesses unfortunately come and go on the High Street, but Gardiner Haskins stands firm. We believe our success is due to community and our passion to intertwine with the local community and help wherever we can. That’s why this new partnership is so important to us at Gardiner Haskins”.

In January 2023 we were pleased to announce a new partnership with local football team, Cirencester Town Football Club. We are delighted to be working with another organisation that is equally proud of their hometown and community. We are both committed to making a positive difference to the Cirencester community with our partnership and look forward to the year ahead.

Cirencester Town FC were originally founded in 1889 and currently play in the Southern League Division One Central. They are 6th in the division currently (accurate 01.03.2023). Gardiner Haskins previously sponsored them in the early 70's appearing on their kit and in the football programmes. 

 Scott Griffin, Football Secretary at Cirencester Town says, “We are really excited about the partnership with Gardiner Haskins, and we can’t wait to get started. Not only has there been a long history and connection between Cirencester Town FC and Gardiner Haskins, but the beauty of this partnership is that both sides are committed to the community. We are looking forward to seeing how we can both help around Cirencester, supporting great causes and really promoting our great Town whilst providing a great service in store and at the football club. “

In March 2023 our pitchside banners were unveiled around the pitch at the Corinium Stadium. The banners are just the start of a hopefully long partnership with the club, and we look forward to seeing how this partnership develops throughout 2023.

Latest Announcement (07.06.2023):

We are pleased to announce we have signed as main sponsors of the home shirt for the 2023/24 season. 

As a store we have served the community for over 43 years and our sponsorship of the Cirencester Town FC home shirts truly represents the commitment we both have to Cirencester. Together in partnership, we are looking forward to seeing how we can continue to support the Cirencester community, support even more great causes and really promoting our great town whilst providing a great service in store and at the football club.
