In this blog series we invite you to virtually meet our designers, find out more about them & their experiences designing over the years and what you can expect if you visit them for your next bathroom renovation.

Today we'd like to introduce you to Daisy, one of our bathroom designers based in our Bristol Showroom. Daisy came to work with us towards the end of 2023 but has risen to the challenge of joining our busy team.

Hi Daisy! How did you get into Bathroom design?

"I completed my degree in interior design last year and always knew I wanted to have a creative job. I also knew I wanted to work withing the residential sector, so being a bathroom designer is a perfect way to start my design career."

What do you enjoy most about design work?

I love getting to know clients hearing about their ideas and aspirations is great! Using this to work with clients to create some unique designs and spaces. I like the challenge of finding a bathroom layout that’s different but works. I also enjoy learning about current trends and seeing which trends stay around longest.

Any insider tips for someone considering a new bathroom renovation project?

Don’t be scared about going for something a bit different. A bathroom can so easily be quite simple. However, unlike a living room or kitchen, a bathroom is one of the only rooms in the house that you don’t live in, so don’t be worried to go for some colour or unique products, such as patterned tiles, as it can really bring a space to life.

What is your favourite 2024 trend for bathrooms?

I love the trend of bringing pastel colours into bathrooms. I love seeing new and unique tile choices, I think this is the best way to make your bathroom unique and personal to your own style.

Can you show us some of your previous work?

This was an initial bathroom design that I created for a client. This house in particular is one of the narrowest houses in Bristol with the whole house only being about 2 meters wide. The client wanted a traditional element with some modern furniture and sanitaryware. The layout was relatively straight forward the main challenge was trying to get the whole style of the bathroom to reflect the rest of the house.

Finally, Why do your clients come to Gardiner Haskins Interiors?

Gardiner Haskins is a complete package when it comes to bathroom design and renovation. Everything from the measurements to creating the design we can help with and help you make knowledgeable decision for your project. With a range of installers, we can recommend across Bristol your bathroom project doesn’t have to be a challenge. We can help guide you throughout the whole process.
