Meet our Bathroom Designer: David Rodgers

Today , David, one of our bathroom designers based in our Bristol Showroom introduces himself and his passion for bringing bathrooms to life.

With over seven years at Gardiner Haskins Interiors, one of the things I’ve grown to appreciate most about bathroom design is that no two customers—and no two bathrooms—are ever the same. My background in property development and experience in the mainstream DIY sector gave me a great foundation, but it’s here, working in a design-led environment, that I’ve found the most rewarding part of my career. Every project is an opportunity to create something completely unique.

Recently, I’ve taken on my own home renovation journey, which has given me a whole new perspective on the challenges (and joys!) our customers experience. From initial planning and product selection to installation and finishing touches—I've lived it all. It’s allowed me to understand the finer details of home renovation and to bring even more practical, empathetic advice to the design process.

A trend I’m loving at the moment is the use of Ca' Pietra designer tiles. These bold, beautifully crafted tiles instantly elevate a bathroom space, injecting colour, texture, and personality.
